Marcel van Egdom

General Manager

Marcel is a driven professional with 15 years’ experience working as Project, Portfolio and Product Manager and in the Events, Technology, Media and Government sectors across Australia, New Zealand, Asia and Europe.

After completing his Master of Project Management degree at the University of Technology, Sydney he developed a proven track-record in delivering a portfolio of large scale technology and innovative events across the Asia Pacific region; as well as driving digital transformation projects.

Marcel’s vast professional experience across strategy development, production, marketing, data, operations, as well as sponsorship sales and operations make him a valued leader of the team.

Santi Thawornwiphat

Santi Thawornwiphat

Event Technology Manager

Santi offers a rare level of skill and technical expertise in event technology. Since completing his Bachelor of Computer Engineering and a Master of Engineering Management, Santi has obtained vast experience: he spent almost 20 years at Sydney’s major event venues including 10 years at the former Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Throughout his career, Santi has worked with events of all types and sizes, offering dependable technology advice and solutions to allow events to evolve their digital platforms and importantly, to do so without disruption.

Systems Integration Manager

Shaun is critical to the planning and development of eTechSuite’s various platforms and software, offering an exceptional skillset built over 15 years (11 years within a Professional Conference Organisation), which produces limitless possibilities for clients.

His out-of-the-box problem solving philosophy allows clients to streamline processes and quickly respond to changing technologies.

Shaun also has extensive privacy law knowledge as our Data Protection Officer and will ensure all activity in the planning process is compliant across the entire event cycle.

Robert Masana

Robert Masana

Digital Product & Business Development Manager

Robert has over 16 years’ experience in software development for several industries and management of onshore and offshore teams.

His digital and technical experience started in Barcelona where he began his career as an analyst programmer working for a wide variety of clients in telecommunications, airlines, manufacturing and wine industries. His strong ability to build customer and stakeholder relationships contributed to his progression to IT Project Manager and Business Analyst roles in which he managed multiple projects across Spain, Italy, Brazil, USA and Australia.

Robert plays an integral role in driving the development and continuous improvement of eTechSuite’s award-winning event technologies.

Gemma is a conscientious Digital Platform Manager who will work hard to ensure the success of every event and develop trusted relationships as though she were part of your team. With a Bachelor of Management in Events and Leisure, Gemma has built strong digital platform expertise working on a range of events across multiple industries nationally and internationally with associations and government departments. Gemma is solution focused, customer-service driven and will be committed to making your conference – whether it’s a hybrid, virtual or hub & spoke event – a success.
