eTechSuite has become the first Australian event technology provider to gain carbon neutral certification.
The certification by Climate Active, is awarded to businesses that have achieved a state of net zero emissions, otherwise known as carbon neutrality.
eTechSuite is excited about the benefits this will deliver for our clients, as certification will ultimately help reduce the footprint of the events we support.
Partnering with eTechSuite is one of the most affordable ways for our clients to start reducing the carbon footprint of their events as the emissions from our activity as an event technology provider are already offset and go toward offsetting our clients’ events. This reduces the workload of calculating overall event emissions.
As governments and organisations across the globe begin to ramp-up action to combat climate change, creating more sustainable events is gaining momentum across the events industry. It is now more important than ever to implement strategies that help to reduce, or ideally offset, the footprint of events whether they be virtual, hybrid or face-to-face.
eTechSuite looks forward to empowering our clients to make their events sustainable so that we can take action on climate change together.

As part of eTechSuite’s carbon neutral certification, we are proud to invest in the following projects that deliver significant social and environmental outcomes by reducing or removing carbon from the atmosphere.
Greenfleet – Reforestation, Australia
eTechSuite offset 90.00 tonnes of CO2-e with Greenfleet. This support will help restore native forests and ecosystems, which provide crucial habitat for endangered wildlife, help counter the devastating impact of the bushfires and reduce the impacts of climate change. Greenfleet will plant enough biodiverse native trees on behalf of eTechSuite to offset these emissions.
Rimba Raya Biodiversity Reserve Project, Indonesia
eTechSuite has offset 360 tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions with the purchase and retirement of certified carbon credits. Located in Borneo, the Rimba Raya Biodiversity Reserve creates a protective buffer between destructive palm plantations in the region and the biodiverse-rich Tanjung Puting National Park – an important conservation area for the endangered Orangutan.
